Zserbo (ZHAIR-boh) is a pastry made famous by Gerbeaud, the legendary Hungarian czukrazda (confectionery). It consists of four layers made with apricot (barak) and walnut (dios) fillings and a rich chocolate icing on top. For mail orders we recommend freezing the wrapped pastry for 10 minutes before removing the shrink wrap to keep the chocolate intact.
