Shipping & Returns
Dobo’s Delights Bake Shoppe is a small, independent (mom & pop) bakery, specializing in authentic made-from-scratch recipes. The vast majority of our sales are to walk-in customers. We occasionally get emails and phone calls from our main website requesting that we ship products to various places around the country. So we have set up this online store to provide a way for customers outside our area to order and receive products. The type of store we are and the type of products we sell determines the methods by which we package and ship products. The following are our policies with regards to shipping and returns/refunds.
Dobo’s Delights Bake Shoppe currently offers shipping through via U.S.P.S. Priority (2-3 day) and Express (1-2 day) only. If you would prefer to use UPS or other shipping method, we can accommodate your needs; please contact us by phone to place your order.
Our products are made to order. Your shipment will be sent out as soon as possible within our regular working days (Tuesday through Saturday). If you are in need of products by a certain deadline (i.e. specific holiday or special occasion), please contact us by phone to verify that your order can be completed and shipped in time.
Remember, Dobo’s Delights Bake Shoppe is a ‘made-from-scratch’ bakery. Our products are made by hand and packaged by hand. The products you receive are packaged in much the same way as if you purchased them from your local neighborhood bakery. No fancy packaging, no labeling, no preservatives, etc. Be sure you are comfortable with this before ordering.
Due to the perishable nature of the products we offer, we do not offer any way to return products. We package our products as carefully as possible to withstand transit. However, we do understand that occasionally products may arrive damaged in some way, usually by crushing on overloaded vehicles. We will work with the customer to issue a refund for the damaged portion of the order or to replace it with another shipment.
